LAST CALL: «Data Mining in Biomedicine» Community of Practice!

The «Data Mining in Biomedicine» Community of Practice (CoP) starts in 12 days through the AFRICA BUILD PORTAL!

The outline of this CoP will be the following:

1^st Week [Feb 17 – Feb 23]: INTRODUCTION

We’ll discuss the «DM in Biomedicine» Course’s Webcasts in order to start everybody from the same point.

2^ndWeek [Feb 24 – Mar 2]: OPEN DATASETS’ REPOSITORIES

We’ll look for the best Open Datasets Repositories Online related to Biomedicine.

3^rd Week [Mar 3 – Mar 9]: STATE OF THE ART OF DM IN BIOMEDICINE

We’ll look for the state of the art papers related to DM in Biomedicine.

4^th Week [Mar 10 – Mar 16]: DESIGN OF A CLASSIFICATION PROBLEM

We’ll select the most interesting datasets from the gathered repositories and we’ll design a classification problem based on the state of the art papers.

This will be a community effort so we hope you be active in proposing!
