During HELINA 2013, the AFRICA BUILD Project organized a one-day symposium to spread the last advances to the conference audience.
Two of the project experts were invited to talk about close topics during this session. Andrew Kanter presented to the audience the Millennium Villages Project and MVG-Net from the Global Health Informatics point of view. Irene Onyancha spoke about the ASKIA Portal, an access point to scientific and socio-economic knowledge in Africa.
Furthermore, every AFRICA BUILD leader talked about the status and last improvements of each work package of the project.
This symposium finished with a round table discussing weaknesses and strengths, as well as open questions in the context of «Africa & Global Health: Towards a new education».
