The Biomedical Informatics Group offers a scholarship for recent graduated in the following research areas:

Research Areas

• Web technologies and semantic web technologies as RDF/SPARQL, as well as many other standards  and applications
• Semantic relationships between clinical vocabularies
• Research in clinical data management
• Development and maintenance of web pages
• Development of MOOCs about clinical data management

Required skills and experience

• Previous experience in Biomedical Informatics
• Previous experience working with ontologies and semantic interoperability
• Specific knowledge in medical terminologies (SNOMED, ICD, LOINC, … etc.) and clinical standards (HL7 RIM, OMOP, …etc.)

Job Location 

• Biomedical Informatics Group – School of Computer Engineering (ETS Ingenieros Informáticos, in Spanish), UPM

Duration and remuneration

• 5 months starting on 01/02/2018. 750€/month
