EHR and Hospital databases

GIB has developed over the past 15 years several papers related to databases and medical records. This work, made in the 90s for the "Príncipe de Asturias" hospital from Alcalá de Henares and the "Clínico San Carlos" hospital, intended to develop practical solutions to specific problems. For example, for patients with hypertension of the "Príncipe de Asturias" hospital or data management of transplants of the "Clínico San Carlos" hospital. In the latter case, the database done, one of the pioneers in their field, allowing team to computerize the data of patients and donors, which until then were managed through paper files.

GIB has also worked on the development of clinical-genomics workstations, which led to the European project INFOGENMED.
