Short bio

Ana Jiménez Castellanos is a PhD student in Computer Science at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. MSc in Artificial Intelligence Research. During the last 6 years, she has been a member of the Biomedical Informatics Group at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain. Her research interests are mainly focused on collaborative platforms, eLearning, databases integration, search engines and sustainability of software applications in biomedicine. She has contributed to several projects in the group: AFRICA BUILD, Tratamiento 2.0, COMBIOMED and ACGT. She is currently the Technical Project Manager of AFRICA BUILD. Since 2007 she also participates actively in a Cooperation Group and in an Educational Innovation Group. She has been part of a field mission in the University of Ngozi (Burundi) in 2007 and 2010.
